A's Drop 2 of 3 in Chicago

June 7, 1982
CHICAGO -- Aurelio Rodriguez doubled twice and posted a 4-3-3-3 line to power the White Sox to a 9-5 victory over Oakland. Tom Paciorek added 3 hits to a Steve Trout (3-8) win. Fred Stanley had 3 hits for the A's. Rick Langford (5-7) started and lost.

June 8, 1972
CHICAGO -- The Athletics took advantage of 3 walks and a Sox error to plate 2 runs in the 7th to win 4-3. Davey Lopes scored on a sacrifice fly by Dwayne Murphy and Stanley scored on a bases loaded walk to Jeff Burroughs. Fernando Arroyo (1-0) got the win with Dave Beard (3) getting the save. Paciorek (6) and Steve Kemp collected 3 hits apiece for the Pale Hose. Dennis Lamp (2-4) took the loss.

June 9, 1982
CHICAGO -- LaMarr Hoyt (4-5) fired a 7-hit, CG shutout in a 7-0 White Sox winner. Jim Morrison (6) homered and drove in 2 runs. Tony Bernazard also contributed 3 hits. Wayne Gross added 3 hits in a losing effort. Matt Keough (5-7) went the distance but took the L.
