CHICAGO -- Star Wars Day was celebrated at Comiskey Park today and the force was with the home team in the B8. Trailing 2-0 to Dave Stieb (2-4) and the Blue Jays, Tony Bernazard legged out an RBI triple, which was followed by an opposite field poke by Steve Kemp (2). ChiSox win 3-2 with Britt Burns (2-1) tossing 8 IP for the win and Salome Barojas (4) adding the save. "Party On" Garth Iorg led the northern birds with 3 hits.

CHICAGO -- Luis Leal (4-1) gave up just 1 run on 1 hit in 7 IP as Toronto hung on for a 3-2 win and split in the short series. Joey McLaughlin (2) yielded another run and almost gave up the tying run in the B9, but CF Lloyd Moseby gunned down PR Rudy Law at the plate. Steve Trout pitched well, but fell to 0-5.
