Fireworks Finale as ChiSox and Bombers split Pair

April 20, 1982
CHICAGO -- Mike Morgan (2-0) pitched 6.2 innings of shutout ball, thanks in part to 4 IF DPs, as the Yankees beat the White Sox 8-1. Willie Randolph (1) cracked a 3-run homer in the 6th. Chicago 3B Jim Morrison booted 2 more balls giving him 7 errors over the past 2 games.

April 21, 1982
CHICAGO -- Extra fireworks bursting in air as Greg Luzinski (4) sent the patrons home deliriously happy with a B10th grand slam bomb off Goose Gossage. The Bull also had a 2-run blast in the 1st and a sacrifice fly to account for 7 of the 8 ChiSox runs in an 8-4 victory. Kevin Hickey (2-0) grabbed the in in relief for Chicago. George Frazier (1-1), who began the 10th with a lead-off walk to Bill Almon, was tagged with the loss.
