CHICAGO -- Francisco Barrios (5-2) nearly duplicated McCatty's opening day performance with a 3-hit shut out of us,

CHICAGO -- Harold Baines (7) 2-run home run in the 7th and Carlton Fisk's RBI single in the 8th helped the White Sox overcome the Armas (23, 24) Armada for a 3-2 win. Richard Dotson (5-2) was the WP with Rick Langford (6-5) tagged as LP.
