Expos and Giants Dual to Draw

Game 1:
Both starting pitchers were victimized in this game. Montreal jumped out to a quick to nothing lead but that evaporated very quickly. After's 5 1/2 innings the gents were up 6-2.  There was no quit from the men from up north as the Expos scored six unanswered runs to win it.  What are you Fryman pitched 2 2/3 stellar innings to get the win Lions Sosa had to come on board to get the final out  he got the save. Andre Dawson hit the games only Homer. He along with kid Carter and I was found time each had two RBIs. Bob Knepper was the loser he gave up seven runs in 6 2/3 innings.

Game 2

The Giants took an early one nothing lead when Bill North scored on a double play. Youngster Scott Sanderson walk the house in the top of the third and Narrowly escaped damage by striking out future Hall of Famer Willy McCovey with the bases-loaded. The following inning catcher Leemay hit a solo shot to make it to nothing. Montreal manufacture to run in the bottom of the fourth when Andre Dawson let off with a single stole second and went to third on the throwing error then scored on Ellis valentine sacrifice fly to cut San Francisco's lead in half. Bill North Drive walk in the top of the fifth but got picked off when you got caught napping at by a nifty throw from Scott Sanderson.  Tony Bernazard is odd let off the bottom of the seventh by working out a walk then stealing second. Unfortunately the next three expo batters could not score him.  With two outs in the bottom of the seventh Jerry White delivered a clutch single to tie the game up at 2-2.  Reliever Stan Bahnsen and base stealer Bill North played cat mouse until eventually North stole second base. Darrell Evans so shocked the world with a butt that wound up becoming a base hit and put runners on the corners Jack Clark follow that with a sacrifice fly to make the score 3 to 2. With three outs left to go Warren Cromarty let off the bottom of the ninth with a line shot triple off the right-field wall. Rodney Scott he don't want to have liner to third-base which was hit to hard to score Cromartie. Pinch-hitter John Tomargo hit a one hopper to short that Johnny Lemaster elected to go home with. The throw was late and Cromarty scored to tie the game at 3-3. Ron Leflore Kaymont to Pentron and probably stole second.  Chris Speier picked up a bat to pinch-hit for Bernazard.  Spire grounded out to short for the second out of the inning. It looked like Minton was going to survive but he had to face future Hall of Famer Andre Dawson who lined a single to left to score the floor and win the game.  Bahnsen was the winner his record is now to end up. Minton is the loser his record is all-in-one. He has now blown three saves in this young season

Games 3/4 (DH) - Jints not only avoid the series sweep they sweep the DH and split the series and fans in Stadie Olymique' left the cavern groaning.
