ChiSox Sweep O's in (Perhaps) Playoff Preview

April 12, 1983
CHICAGO -- Greg "The Bull" Luzinski (2) blasted a 3-run home run down the LF line in the 1st off Mike Flanagan (1-1) to lead Chicago to a home-opening 5-2 win. Gary Roenicke (2) accounted for both Baltimore runs with a 2-run tater off WP Floyd Bannister (2-0) in the 3rd.

April 14, 1983
CHICAGO -- Eddie Murray's (4) 2-run bomb in the 9th brought the Orioles to within 5-4 in the T9, but Salome Barojas (2) nailed down the final 2 outs for his second save of the series to preserve the White Sox sweep. Tom Paciorek led the Pale Hose with 3 hits.
